Welcome to Temple Sophia Circle Magdalene
Our Mission: To explore the Ancient Sophianic Wisdom Teachings that date back beyond Atlantis and the Sacred Mysteries of the Divine Feminine, that we may develop a personal relationship with the Divine in a supportive environment and use the Ancient Sophianic Wisdom Teachings and the Sacred Mysteries of the Divine Feminine to enrich our lives.
Our women-only spiritual group meets once a month to discuss the role of the Divine Feminine in women's lives. We discuss the qualities of the Divine Feminine that will enable us to shift our perspective to bring about the change that is needed to create better lives for ourselves and our families.
We discuss ways to connect with that aspect of the Divine Feminine that lives within each woman to receive guidance and find the answers to who we are, why we are here, and where we are going in life.
Discussions include topics such as what is the Divine Feminine to each woman, how we can relate to the Divine Feminine, and how we can use the Divine Feminine to receive the guidance that we need to enhance our daily lives. In addition, we study Mary Magdalene's life and teachings as a guide to our own lives.
We also have a spiritual study group that meets once a month to discuss literature relevant to the Divine Feminine and Mary Magdalene.
Yes, there is a God, but he embodies the energies of the Divine Masculine, the understanding of the Logos - that linear, logical thinking that embodies how to wage war and build civilizations, the blueprint for society. Masculine energy does not understand the emotions of the Divine Feminine or how to give birth and nurture the young. We need the Divine Feminine energies to direct us in our lives as women.
The masculine energies of the patriarchy have dominated our society for thousands of years and has become so out of balance that even the women have become masculine. The lines between masculine and feminine have become so blurred that no one can even define what a woman is. The patriarchy wages war constantly and hates the very ones who carry life within their bodies and bring with them the energies of nurturing and healing that this world desperately needs at this time.
Perhaps you have heard an ancient call, deep within your soul - a remembering of times long gone, of ancient Goddess Traditions. Perhaps you hear Mary Magdalene calling to you and you want to know more about her - her life, her teachings. Perhaps you feel a desire to serve the Divine Feminine. Whatever your soul's longing is, we will explore it together. You are invited to join our circle of empowered women on a spiritual journey like no other.

Spring Retreat
We will be holding our first Temple Sophia Circle Magdalene Retreat in March 2026. Details to be announced later.

Announcements
Although we already have a study group that meets every second Saturday of the month at Noon Eastern, starting the second Friday night in January, which is January 9, 2026, at 8 p.m. Eastern, we will be holding a second study group meeting , via zoom. We will be studying Meggan Watterson's book, "Mary Magdalene Revealed," an excellent book that includes teachings from both Jesus and Mary Magdalene that inspire very interesting conversations. We have four retreats per year - Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter. Retreats include dancing, drumming, singing, meditation, nature walks, speakers, sound baths, crystal and Reiki healings, and more. If you are interested in contributing your talents to our retreats, please contact us.
Goddess Traditions
Celebrate ancient Goddess Traditions with sisters of like mind as we go through the cycles of life together. Learn to understand yourself and embrace the magic of Nature for personal transformation.
Our traditions include:
1. Understanding and celebrating the cycles of life through the Wheel of the Year
2. Moon rituals to honor our connection to the cycles of the Moon that are reflected in our own bodies
3. Rites of passage, such as welcoming ceremonies for newborns, coming of age ceremonies for first menarche, maiden's rite for women getting married, a Mother blessing for a woman who has learned she is pregnant, and crossing over ceremony to help ease someone into the next world.
There is so much in our lives to celebrate. Come and celebrate with us!
Study Group
We gather together once a month, on the second Saturday of each month, at Noon Eastern, via zoom, to discuss the literature we are currently reading as a group.
A second group will be forming next year on the second Friday of the month at 8 p.m. Eastern, via zoom. Our focus right now is Mary Magdalene Revealed, by Meggan Watterson. Meggan's work presents many interesting gnostic concepts for our discussion. You do not have to have the book to participate, but you will want to have a copy of this for your own!

Ancient Sophianic Wisdom Traditions
Once a month, on the third Saturday of the month, at Noon Eastern, via zoom meeting, we gather together to explore the Ancient Sophianic Wisdom Traditions and the Sacred Mysteries of the Divine Feminine. It is a two hour meeting. We invite you to join us in this exploration as we support one another on our spiritual journey.
